Packers offensive lineman, beer chugging extraordinaire David Bakhtiari applauds Taylor Swift on her drinking abilities at the Super Bowl

David Bakhtiari knows a thing or two about the art of chugging a drink, particularily in public at a live sporting event.

The Green Bay Packers' All-Pro offensive lineman is a veteran in this field.

So when Taylor Swift entered into Bakhtiari's "line of work" during the Super Bowl on Sunday night with her longtime bestie it made sense that Bakhtiari offered his take on the pop superstar's performance.

He offered his approval with three claps in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

Swift and her crew would have even more to celebrate later in the evening after boyfriend Travis Kelce and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, downed the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22, in overtime to win their second straight Super Bowl and third in the last five years.

Taylor Swift chugs drink at the Super Bowl

Swift won't be mistaken for Bakhtiari in her drinking ability or won't be joining him as a partner at the next Beer Olympics.

But the recently-crowned Grammy Award winner, who was coming off a show in Tokyo as part of her Eras Tour a day earlier, gave the fans at Allegiant Stadium a show during a timeout in the first quarter when she appeared on the jumbotron with a drink in her hands.

She quickly threw down her drink, while her designer and stylist Ashley Avignone, who was sitting next to her, also got in on the fun.

Or were they just partcipating in the drinking game that many around the country probably were partaking in when the cameras showed Swift on the broadcast?

David Bakhtiari has long history of beer chugging at sporting events

In recent years Bakhtiari has played to the crowd at Milwaukee Bucks playoff games when he appears on the jumbotron by slamming beers from his courtside seats.

And we can't forget about when former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers got in on the act with Bakhtiari during the 2019 Eastern Conference finals, something that was referenced again last night to Bakhtiari.

That Bakhtiari-Rodgers drinkoff, if you recall, was no contest.

David Bakhtiari comments on JJ Watt's haircut

Bakhtiari, who missed all but one game this past season due to his continued knee issues, wasn't done with offering his takes on off-the-field Super Bowl trending moments.

He was one of many who had an opinion about JJ Watt's haircut. The Pewaukee native and former Wisconsin star showed off his new look as part of the CBS Super Bowl broadcast.

Watt, who was a member of the network's NFL broadcast team this season in his first year post-retirement, received a lot of attention for the haircut.

The Usher and boy band jokes were seen.
