Pacers' Jalen Smith ruled out of Bucks game with sore lower back

INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers backup center Jalen Smith has been ruled out of Thursday's game against the Bucks with a sore lower back, according to the Pacers' social media accounts.

Smith wasn't listed on the injury report Thursday, and a social media post about 10 minutes prior to tip off said he would be available. However, early in the first quarter, before Smith had had a chance to check in, he was ruled out.

Smith is averaging 11.9 points and 6.9 rebounds off the bench in just 17.7 minutes per game, shooting 71.7% from the floor. He's made 8-of-12 3-point attempts (66.7%) so far this season. Centers Isaiah Jackson and Daniel Theis can come off the bench behind Myles Turner in Smith's place.
