OU softball to open 2024 season at Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in Mexico
NORMAN — OU softball will open the 2024 season Feb. 8-10 at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge in Mexico.
The field also includes Washington, Duke and Long Beach State.
The Sooners will take on Utah Valley at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 8 followed by Duke at 1 p.m. They'll take on Washington, a 2023 Women's College World Series team, at 8:30 p.m. on Feb. 9 and Long Beach State at 1 p.m. the next day.
The games will be available for live streaming at FloSoftball.com with a subscription.
The Sooners also competed in the event in 2020, when they went 4-0 and outscored opponents 27-9, and in 2017 when they went 6-2.
The Sooners, winners of the last three national titles, carry a 53-game winning streak into the season.
