It’s safe to say that Nick Young and JaVale McGee have hit the jackpot landing in Golden State.

Young, a notorious gunner who gave himself his own nickname, left behind a rebuild and bad breakup in Los Angeles to find a role off the bench for what has the potential to be one of the NBA’s great dynasties.

McGee, a year ahead of Young in joining the Warriors, has moved forward a career best known for Shaqtin-a-Fool lowlights to find a valuable contributing role in Golden State’s rotation and pick up a ring.

And now, the two have apparently found each other. And plan to drop a new album.

Wait, what?

That appears to be the case. Young, aka Swaggy P, dropped this tease on Instagram with the two Warriors’ bench bosses smiling behind a studio board.

Young’s caption reading “Album on the way” is all he shared.

We’ll be looking out for whatever comes next. A collaboration from McGee and Young is guaranteed to provide some laughs, at least.

Teammate Draymond Green, however, doesn’t have much faith in what’s to come.

“I don’t want to listen to Nick rap,” Green told the Mercury News. “You got to get a better artist.”

“I actually heard JaVale,” Green continued. “I hear him on the plane all the time doing his stuff. He’s very smart and really good with computers. I don’t doubt he can do it. I don’t doubt he can do it at all.”

Draymond, as usual, keeping it real.
