Who are the NFL's best active international players in 2023? One pick for all 32 teams
The NFL has announced a new initiative to create new opportunities in football for international athletes.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Wednesday morning that the NFL would be expanding practice squad rosters for all 32 teams to include one international player starting next season.
The NFL has a history of international players that have found success playing American football. This new rule is aimed to continue that history by giving teams more chances to discover and develop athletes outside the U.S.
Starting next season, the NFL is expanding practice squads on all 32 teams to include one international player, helping to create more football opportunities for athletes from around the world to be identified and developed.
