NFL mock draft: Where will OU football players Tyler Guyton, Walter Rouse be selected?

OU offensive linemen Tyler Guyton and Walter Rouse were included in NFL.com's latest mock draft.

Guyton is projected to go in the first round (No. 21 overall) to the Miami Dolphins, while Rouse is projected to get picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fourth round (No. 116 overall).

After spending the first two seasons of his career at TCU, Guyton thrived once he transferred to OU in 2022. He made 13 starts at right tackle and earned an All-Big 12 honorable mention this past season as a redshirt junior.

Guyton could fit in well with Miami, which is looking for long-term solutions on the offensive line. Its Pro Bowl left tackle, Terron Armstead, considered retiring this offseason before he decided to return.

Jacksonville also needs to improve its offensive line, particularly on the interior. It would make sense to go with Rouse, who was a source of consistency throughout his five college seasons.

Rouse recorded 39 starts at left tackle throughout four years at Stanford. He then started all 13 games at OU this past season and earned an All-Big 12 honorable mention.

The 2024 NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27 in Detroit.
