Ben Tate: 'Odds are I won't be back'

Running back Ben Tate believes he'll be leaving Houston once he's eligible for free agency.

Tate, who finished the year on the injured reserve list with five broken ribs, took to twitter to offer the city of Houston a goodbye.

In three tweets, Tate wrote the following:

"Cleaned out my locker going to miss the guys on this team....we have a lot of good ppl on this team and everyone was cool from the....

"Trainers to the equipment guys always made it a good time while still getting work done being drafted here I learned a lot that I will

"Carry on for the rest of my career thanks Htown for all the support but odds are I won't be back."

Tate finished his 2013 season with 771 rushing yards and four touchdowns. He'll certainly be a running back to watch once free agency rolls around.
