Mother McAuley unveils $2 million athletics investment
CHICAGO — A mighty celebration took place on the city’s South Side Tuesday, as Mother McAuley High School unveiled a $2 million investment in a new athletic field, lights and scoreboard.
WGN’s Bronagh Tumulty touched base with Mother McAuley athletic director Laurie Jacubzak and girls lacrosse player Betsey Bracewell to highlight the school’s multi-million dollar addition during a time the popularity of girls and women’s sports continues to rise.
