Meet the Holland Sentinel All-Area Competitive Cheer Team
The Holland Sentinel All-Area Competitive cheer team makes its return after a strong season by several local teams.

Addley Field
SCHOOL: West Ottawa
GRADE: Freshman
POSITION: Back spot
COACH'S VIEW: "As a self-taught tumbler, she learned to connect various skills to her back tuck this season. Her strong tumbling earned her a spot as a back spot in round 3, while her nearly level jumps secured her a spot in round 1. Addley's flawless back walkover and back handspring also earned her a center position in round 2." - Mindy Vork
Sarai Garcia
SCHOOL: West Ottawa
GRADE: Senior
POSITION: Base
COACH'S VIEW: "Sarai Garcia, a three-year varsity athlete, was an exceptional leader and captain. Her high skill level in tumbling and jumps, precise motions, great facials, and energetic performances earned her a spot in all 3 rounds the whole season. She was a powerhouse base, displaying versatility by adapting to several changes made to her stunt group throughout the season, leaving a lasting impact on her team." - Mindy Vork

Danielle Kyes
SCHOOL: West Ottawa
GRADE: Senior

COACH'S VIEW: "Danielle Kyes, a third-year varsity athlete, stood out as a valuable mentor for the underclassmen on the team. This season, she got her back tuck and proved to be a strong base for one of our top stunt groups. Her overall strong skill level earned her a spot in all three rounds this season." - Mindy Vork

COACH'S VIEW: "Katherine O'Brien, a four-year varsity athlete and captain, demonstrated her creativity by assisting in choreographing the team's rounds. Her high skill level and performance energy earned her a spot in all three rounds, including a center spot in rounds 1 and 2. As a skilled power tumbler, she seamlessly connected various skills to her back tuck. Additionally, Katherine's dedication as a backspot was evident, always prioritizing the safety of her flyer." - Mindy Vork
