LSU vs. UCLA: Predictions and odds for Saturday's women's March Madness game

The reigning champion No. 3 LSU Tigers are set to face the No. 2 UCLA Bruins in a Saturday matinee for the right to advance to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament.

The Tigers come into the game on the heels of an 83-56 win over Middle Tennessee on Sunday and in the midst of a feud between lightning rod head coach Kim Mulkey and the Washington Post. On the floor Flau’jae Johnson led the game with 21 points. While in the press room, Mulkey used the looming article to deflect from the team's slow first half.

"No. Listen, we’re not going to let one sleazy reporter distract us from what we’re trying to do. Absolutely not," Mulkey said.

The Bruins make the trip to Albany after beating Creighton 67-63 on Monday behind Kiki Rice's team-high 24 points.
