Looking for the best NFL player props between Giants and 49ers? Here are our 3 picks

Thursday Night Football is here as the New York Giants travel to the Bay Area to take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 3 of the NFL season.

Some notable Giants that won't be available tonight are star RB Saquon Barkley (ankle), OLB Azeez Ojulari (hamstring) and starting offensive linemen Andrew Thomas (hamstring) and Ben Bredeson (concussion).

For the 49ers, the main concern is WR Brandon Aiyuk. He was limited in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday after he suffered a shoulder injury in Week 2.

With that in mind, let's dive into the player props betting market for this Thursday night game. Here are my three go-to wagers for the Giants vs. 49ers:

NY Giants TE Darren Waller OVER 45.5 receiving yards (-110)

In his first two starts in a Giants uniform, it's already clear Waller is the No. 1 receiving option. He has a team-high 13 targets through two games and went for 76 yards on six catches in the Week 2 victory over the Arizona Cardinals.

With Barkley set to miss this contest, QB Daniel Jones should continue to pepper Waller with targets even against a tough matchup with the 49ers.

The Giants could trail early and often in this one, which lines up well for Waller to have lots of opportunities to go over this number.

The best receiving line and price for Waller is at 45.5 yards at -110 on bet365.

NY Giants QB Daniel Jones OVER 37.5 rushing yards (-110)

New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (8) celebrates during their 31-28 win over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Sept. 17, 2023.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (8) celebrates during their 31-28 win over the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on Sept. 17, 2023.

After posting career-highs in carries (120), rushing yards (708) and rushing touchdowns (7) in 2022, Jones has continued his success on the ground to start this season.

The Giants' signal caller already has 22 carries through two games and scored his first rushing TD of the year last week in Arizona.

With the combination of a depleted offensive line and facing a ferocious 49ers' defensive line, Jones should need to scramble out of the pocket early and often in this one as he'll clear this total with ease.

Go to BetRivers Sportsbook or bet365 to wager on Jones rushing for more than 37 yards at -110.

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle anytime TD scorer (+190)

If Aiyuk is to miss this matchup or plays more of a decoy role due to his injury, one of the biggest benefactors should be Kittle.

Kittle has taken a backseat on offense with Aiyuk's two-touchdown performance in Week 1 and Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel carrying the offense this past Sunday. That changes on Thursday night.

Once Brock Purdy took over the starting job in Week 13 last season, Kittle was his go-to target in the red zone. He scored seven touchdowns over the final four regular-season games, including three games with multiple TDs.

I'm betting on Kittle to have a big game as he finds the end zone for the first time since Week 18 of 2022.

I'd also sprinkle a small wager on the 49ers' tight end to score the first TD at +1000 or even for him to score twice at +1600, both on FanDuel Sportsbook.

For the best available price, bet on Kittle to get in the end zone at +190 on PointsBet Sportsbook.
