Jose Mourinho: Former Man Utd and Chelsea boss spotted at Lille vs Montpellier

Jose Mourinho attended Lille’s Ligue 1 clash with Montpellier on Sunday afternoon as the former Manchester United and Chelsea manager considers his next step in the game.

The Portuguese was sacked by United in December, which sparked a revival at Old Trafford under interim head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And Mourinho’s next job remains a mystery, but he is now beginning to attend live games, hinting he is ready to return.

Christophe Galtier’s side are flying high in Ligue 1 with Lille currently placing ahead of Lyon and Marseille in the race for a Champions League spot.

Mourinho’s reason for attending the match appears related to visiting his friend Luis Campos, who is a football advisor for Lille’s scouting department.

The pair worked together at Real Madrid, where Campos was chief scout.

Campos has previous been linked with the vacant director of football role at Chelsea since Michael Emenalo’s departure.

Mourinho also seems to have paid a visit to Galtier’s squad, with Kouakou Hervé Koffi posing with the Portuguese.

The Burkina Faso international revealed Mourinho has shared some advice to him.

“Always a pleasure to receive the advice of a great coach,” he wrote.

Mourinho has recently been seen on beIN SPORTS, filling his time off as a pundit.

And after confirming he has already received job offers, Mourinho’s interest in the game remains high.
