Joe Burrow throws for 345 passing yards during first half of Bengals-Falcons game
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow completed 21 of his 25 pass attempts - including a streak of 17 consecutive completions - for 345 passing yards with three touchdowns during an impressive first half of Sunday's Week 7 game against the Atlanta Falcons at Paycor Stadium en route to one of the best efforts of his NFL career: 481 passing yards, three passing touchdowns and one rushing TD.
Receiver Ja'Marr Chase made his two touchdown catches during the second quarter and finished with first half with 112 receiving yards. Teammate Tyler Boyd had the other TD reception from Burrow, and finished the half with five catches for 118 yards.
Chase did head to the locker room - hobbling off the field under his own power - with 20 seconds left in the first half. He returned for the second half.
Earlier, Burrow surpassed 9,000 career passing yards in his 33rd NFL game, and Chase surpassed 2,000 receiving yards in his 24th game.
