Jets 2024 NFL Draft: Every pick Gang Green made in Detroit

Here are all of the Jets' picks during each day of the 2024 NFL Draft...

DAY 3

New York traded down from pick No. 111 and acquired the Green Bay Packers' pick at No. 126 and No. 190 in the sixth-round. GM Joe Douglas then made another move, trading pick No. 126 to the Detroit Lions for a 2025 third-rounder.

The Jets were then supposed to make a pick at No. 129, but made another trade, sending the fourth-rounder to the San Francisco 49ers for two fifth-round picks: No. 173 and No. 176.

Round 4, No. 134: RB Braelon Allen

Allen, 20, was initially recruited as a defensive player out of high school (linebacker or safety), but ended up as a RB once he got to Wisconsin. He ran for 1,268 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman in 2021 and followed that up with 1,248 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore. Last year, Allen ran for 984 yards and scored 12 touchdowns over just 11 games while missing some time due to a lower left leg injury.

The 6-foot-1, 235-pound back earned Second-team All-Big Ten Conference honors in 2021 and 2022, and was named to the Third-team All-Big Ten Conference in 2023.

Round 5, No. 171: QB Jordan Travis

New York traded up to pick No. 171, sending sixth-rounders No. 185 and No. 190 to the Philadelphia Eagles, and selected quarterback Jordan Travis out of Florida State. Travis, who'll turn 24 on May 2, is listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds. He had a dominant 2023 season with 2,756 yards passing, 20 TDs, and two interceptions en route to being named the 2023 ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and First-team All-ACC.

Although, Travis suffered a devastating season-ending left leg injury against Northern Alabama and missed the team's final three games of the year. He finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting and set FSU career records with 10,554 yards of total offense and the school QB record with 1,910 rushing yards and 31 rushing TDs.

Round 5, No. 173: RB Isaiah Davis

Davis, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound back, ran for 1,578 yards with 18 touchdowns on 236 carries to lead South Dakota State to an undefeated 15-0 season. He ran for 90 yards with a touchdown in the FCS Championship game against Montana, helping the Jackrabbits win their second straight national title.

Round 5, No. 176: CB Qwan'tez Stiggers

Stiggers, 22, signed with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in January 2023 after playing in the indoor league Fan Controlled Football in 2022. Stiggers made 53 tackles and five interceptions over 16 games with Toronto, earning the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award and East All-Star honors.

Round 7, No. 257: S Jaylen Key

With the final pick in the 2024 draft, the Jets selected safety Jaylen Key from the University of Alabama. The 6-foot-1, 208-pound safety played for UAB before transferring to Alabama. He played the entire 2023 season with the Crimson Tide. He's touted for having the physical gifts to be an NFL safety but will need work in coverage.

Undrafted free-agent signings

LB Jimmy Ciarlo, Army

DAY 2

Round 3, Pick No. 65: Western Kentucky WR Malachi Corley

The Jets traded up into the third round to pick a much-needed wide receiver for Aaron Rodgers.

The Western Kentucky standout made first-team All-Conference USA after leading his team with 79 receptions and 894 receiving yards. He led Conference USA with 11 receiving touchdowns and set a school record with 259 career receptions.

Gang Green sent its third-round pick (No. 72) and fifth-round pick (No. 155) to the Carolina Panthers to select Corley.

DAY 1

No. 11 pick: Penn State OL Olu Fashanu

The Jets traded their No. 10 pick to the Minnesota Vikings to move back a spot to pick up Fashanu.

New York received the Vikings’ No. 11 pick, their fourth-round pick (No. 129) and a fifth-round pick (No. 157) for the Jets' No. 10 and No. 203 picks.

Fashanu, listed at 6-foot-6, 312 pounds, started just two seasons for the Nittany Lions after redshirting as a freshman and coming off the bench in 2021. While many scouts believe that Fashanu has prototypical size and athleticism at the tackle position, the 21-year-old also has plenty of room to improve and could be a bit of a project, rather than a Day 1 starter.

However, his accolades speak for themselves, as Fashanu was First-Team All-American in 2023 and earned Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year honors.
