Jauan Jennings signs one-year tendered deal with 49ers

Former University of Tennessee football player Jauan Jennings signed a one-year tenured deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

Jennings, drafted by San Francisco in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL draft (No. 17 overall).

Jennings played for the Volunteers between 2015-19 under head coaches Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitt. He finished the 2021 season with 24 receptions for 282 yards and five touchdowns.

Jennings will make $825,000 during the 2022 season.

In five years with the Volunteers, he appeared in 48 games, totaling 146 receptions, 18 touchdowns and 2,153 yards.

Jennings had 93 career rushing yards and one touchdown during his collegiate career.
