Jaden Springer to play for 76ers in NBA Summer League
Former University of Tennessee basketball player Jaden Springer will play for Philadelphia in the 2022 NBA Summer League.
NBA Summer League events will take place in Salt Lake City, Utah (July 5-7) and Las Vegas, Nevada (July 7-17).
Springer played for Tennessee during the 2020-21 season and was a member of the Southeastern Conference All-Freshman Team.
He was a first round pick in the 2021 NBA draft by Philadelphia (No. 28 overall).
Springer was a two-way player with Philadelphia and the Delaware Blue Coats, the team’s NBA G-League affiliate.
He appeared in seven NBA games last season, including five postseason contests.
In the G-League, Springer averaged 14.9 points and 4.7 rebounds per contest, for the Blue Coats, helping the team win a league championship.
