With the Tennessee (TSSAA) high school girls soccer season at the midseason point, several Jackson area players have stood out.

Here is a list of some of the top names who could be player of the year candidates when season comes to a close.

Charity Greenhill, Crockett County: Greenhill, a senior, has five goals and an assist for the Cavaliers.

Kristin Lewis, Crockett County: Lewis leads the Cavaliers with 13 goals.

Dani Rios, Crockett County: Rios, a junior, has two goals and three assists.

Rebecca Waddey, Crockett County: Waddey has six goals and a team-high five assists.

Juli Harris, Huntingdon: Harris, a junior midfielder, has 11 goals and 10 assists.

Kailey Lord, Huntingdon: Lord, a junior forward, leads the Mustangs with 19 goals and has 10 assists.

Ashlyn Rich, Huntingdon: Rich, a senior goalkeeper, has made 47 saves.

Abbi Sykes, Huntingdon: Sykes, a freshman forward, has 13 goals and 10 assists.
