Find out how Iowa State football players did in Week 10 of the NFL season

Week 10 of the NFL season is in the books, and several former Iowa State players made a significant impact for their team.

Topic No. 1 here right now remains Brock Purdy, who bounced back in a big way against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Same for David Montgomery in his return from a rib injury. Things, however, were not as positive for Iowa State's New York Jets trio on Sunday night.

Here's how all former Cyclones did in Week 10 of the NFL season.

Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers QB

Stunningly on a three-game midseason losing streak, the 49ers needed to shine coming out of their bye week at Jacksonville. Purdy spearheaded the rebound effort with 296 passing yards and three touchdowns en route to a 34-3 win.

Purdy hit three different receivers for his three scores, with his longest one going to former Iowa tight end George Kittle. Purdy and San Francisco look back on track after a minor derailment.

David Montgomery, Detroit Lions RB

A 75-yard touchdown highlighted Montgomery's return to action after missing several games with a rib issue. The former Iowa State running back piled up 116 yards and a score on just 12 carries in the Detroit Lions' 41-38 road win over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Could we see a Montgomery vs. Purdy showdown somewhere in the playoffs? Very possible with how the Lions and 49ers look right now.

Breece Hall New York Jets RB

Hall and the New York Jets had a tough night in a 16-12 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, but he did produce one highlight-reel play on a 35-yard catch and run. Overall, Hall finished with 13 carries for 28 yards and three catches for 47 yards.
