Harrison and Ossining have enough quality wins to be considered dangerous

The only thing slowing down Scarsdale is the weather.

A postponement is about the best opponents can hope for. The Raiders improved to 9-0 this season and ran their winning streak to 30 games with a 3-0 win over John Jay-East Fishkill on Monday.

Scarsdale is not blinking against quality opponents and is not showing any signs of being knocked down the list.

1. Scarsdale (9-0) – Is there a more dangerous combination than Yusuke Sato and Lorenzo Galeano in Section 1 this season? Last week: 1

2. Tappan Zee (8-0) – Yes, the Dutchmen could be the best team in Rockland following an easy win over North Rockland, but they still have to deal with unbeaten Pearl River. Last week: 3

3. Eastchester (9-0) – It's pretty clear the Eagles are enjoying their underdog status, but they have the ability to shake up the Class AA bracket. Last week: 5 

4. Somers (7-2) – This group has gained valuable experience in high-pressure contests over the first nine games. How will it react to the loss to Eastchester on Monday? Last week: 2

5. Arlington (7-1-1) – Clean sheets have been a high priority for the Admirals, who have posted five shutouts over the course of this six game winning streak. Last week: 6

6. Briarcliff (10-0) – The winning streak could be in jeopardy this week with Blind Brook, Pleasantville and Keio lined up to test the Bears. Last week: 8

7. John Jay-East Fishkill (5-3-1) – The Patriots have recovered from a 2-2 start and put an exclamation point on a 3-0-1 run with a 3-1 win over Ketcham last week. Last week: NR

8. North Rockland (5-2) – Getting just one goal in losses to Scarsdale and Tappan Zee has to be a concern for a team with Class AAA title hopes. Last week: 4

9. Ossining (7-3) – It's not always textbook, but the Pride have reeled off six in a row following a humbling 1-3 start that included losses to Monroe-Woodbury, Scarsdale and Arlington. Last week: NR

10. Harrison (7-3) – The Huskies are on the radar and proving to be a threat with wins over Ketcham, Mamaroneck and New Rochelle. Last week: NR
