The Arizona Republic: 49ers 27, Packers 24

Jeremy Cluff writes: "Green Bay really impressed in its win against the Cowboys. San Francisco will be rested and ready for this one, however, and the 49ers' defense will be much tougher to score on for the Packers than Dallas' defense was. We expect a close game, but the 49ers will make a key stop late to preserve the victory."

FanSided: 49ers should rout Packers in Saturday's NFL Playoffs game

Peter Panacy writes: "The Packers now travel on a short week, while quarterback Brock Purdy and the Niners are well rested. San Francisco is getting healthy again, too, as key starters like running back Christian McCaffrey, defensive tackle Arik Armstead and safety Tashaun Gipson are scheduled to return from injuries. Pound for pound, the 49ers are the goliath. At home. With recent history on their side, which includes head coach Kyle Shanahan beating his opposite number, Matt LaFleur, twice in postseason play since 2020. But, don't let those facts get in the way."

Bill Speros writes: "Aaron Who? Jordan Love iced his role as the Packers franchise QB with a spectacular performance against the Cowboys. Green Bay crushed Dallas 48-32 after racing to the 27-0 lead in the first half. It became the first No. 7 seed to reach the Divisional Round since 2020. But instead of facing a franchise baptized in postseason dysfunction, the Packers face the Gold Standard of the NFC. And they take their West Coast offense to the place where it was perfected (meaning the Bay Area). The 49ers needed the bye and should be fully healed. Unlike the Cowboys, the 49ers defense knows how to make tackles and pressure the quarterback. The Packers won’t be able to come out running like they did against Dallas. But what about that double-digit spread? The 49ers are underwater ATS, going 9-8 against their 12-5 mark straight up. They are 4-2 on double-digit lines, but 3 of those wins game against teams under .500. The road team has covered in each of the past 10 games at Levi’s Stadium."
