Game time set for Auburn vs. Arizona in 2024 NCAA Women's Tournament First Four matchup

The start time for Auburn women's basketball's first March Madness game in five years is officially set.

The Tigers will take on Arizona in the First Four round of the NCAA Women's Tournament on Thursday (6:00 p.m. CT, ESPN2). Both teams were given an 11-seed, with the winner of the pending matchup set to face 6-seed Syracuse on Saturday.

Auburn has not made the women's tournament since 2019, while Arizona is making its fourth consecutive appearance. Coach Johnnie Harris will make her first March Madness appearance as a head coach in her third year at the helm. Harris previously coached in tournament runs as an assistant for Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Texas.
