Birth Choice of the Desert, an organization that helps women and families facing pregnancy, will hold its inaugural fundraising golf tournament May 10, combining the joy of golf with the heartfelt mission of supporting families in the Coachella Valley.

Taking place at the scenic Big Rock Golf Club at Indian Springs, this tournament offers a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals facing pregnancy, parenting and reproductive health concerns.

The event will begin with check-in at 7:30 a.m. Shotgun Start begins at 8. The cost is $200 per golfer, which includes 18 holes of golf, greens and cart fees, range balls, a delicious lunch of Mexican food, a swag bag and two free Mulligans. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place as well as men’s and women’s longest drives and men’s and women‘s closest to the pin.

As a premier family organization, Birth Choice of the Desert is dedicated to empowering, educating and equipping individuals to make informed pregnancy decisions. Through services such as pregnancy testing, follow-up ultrasounds, parenting education and the provision of baby and toddler necessities, Birth Choice extends crucial support to those in need, completely free of charge. Additionally, the organization collaborates with the Desert Healthcare District Mobile Project to ensure timely prenatal care and additional assistance for its clients.

The commendation of the "Health Living Award" from the Palm Desert Chamber of Commerce underscores Birth Choice's innovative approach to health services and its positive impact on the community.
