Five bold predictions for Texas vs. Kansas

The Longhorns find themselves in a “prove-it” game against Kansas this weekend.

Texas enters the game following its most disappointing performance of the season. The offense went stagnant with the entire college football world watching vs. TCU. Quinn Ewers and the offense desperately need to find some production.

Steve Sarkisian and his squad are facing significant pressure to right the ship quickly. A win on Saturday would keep Texas alive in the Big 12 Conference race along with avenging the embarrassing defeat to the Jayhawks from a year ago. A loss would have many people hitting the panic button on the state of Texas’ program.

Kansas is a dangerous team more than capable of pulling off the upset. Lance Leipold is a national coach of the year candidate and starting quarterback Jalon Dainels may return.

Here are five bold predictions for Texas’ road showdown with Kansas this weekend. Expect a close battle between the two Big 12 foes.
