Fantasy football stock watch: Cordarrelle Patterson, Elijah Mitchell put injuries behind them

These players saw their fantasy values increase or decrease most based on their performances in Week 12:

Sizzlers

RB Joe Mixon, Cincinnati Bengals: As the weather turns chilly, Mixon has moved into the very top tier of fantasy running backs. He rolled up 165 rushing yards and two touchdowns vs. Pittsburgh -- his fourth consecutive game with multiple scores.

RB Leonard Fournette, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: What didn't Fournette do in a high-scoring win over Indianapolis? He rushed for 100 yards, had another 31 yards on seven receptions and scored four touchdowns in one of the top fantasy performances of the year.

Cordarrelle Patterson missed Week 11 with an ankle injury and was questionable for Sunday's game at Jacksonville, but he responded with a huge game.

RB/WR Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons: After sitting out the previous week, Patterson erupted again for 135 combined yards and two rushing touchdowns. He's been one of this season's breakout stars.

RB Elijah Mitchell, San Francisco 49ers: Mitchell cemented the lead running back role for the Niners with a scintillating 168 total yards and a touchdown. That, despite a broken finger that caused him to miss Week 11.

WR Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins: Dolphins receivers have been hit with a rash of injuries, but Waddle has excelled when asked to handle a larger workload. He caught nine passes for 137 yards and a touchdown in what looked like a difficult matchup against Carolina.

Fizzlers

RB Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers: For as talented and dominating as McCaffrey can be, he just can't avoid getting injured. He exited early yet again after rolling an ankle and was put on injured reserve, ending his season early for the second consecutive season.

RB Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns: With Cleveland unable to pass the ball, defenses can now focus on stopping Chubb. Against Baltimore, he had just 16 yards rushing and 23 yards receiving. Following the Browns' bye this week, they have a rematch with the Ravens, followed by the Packers and Steelers during the fantasy playoffs.

WR Emmanuel Sanders, Buffalo Bills: Sanders has been hit-or-miss all season, with just three receptions for 28 yards on Thanksgiving night. It's probably time to take him out of flex consideration.

WR Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos: With quarterback Teddy Bridgewater in and out of the lineup due to a shin injury, Jeudy never seemed to find his rhythm with two receptions for 25 yards. He's yet to score a touchdown in 2021 and is quickly running out of opportunities.

WR Mike Williams, Los Angeles Chargers: After a blazing start to the season, Williams has cooled considerably. Five of his last six games have been nothing but single-digit fantasy performances that hurt fantasy teams a lot more than they helped.
