Did Ja'Marr Chase troll the NFL Network about Joe Burrow's injury?

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (1) runs downfield during a drill with the receiving core and defensive secondary at the Cincinnati Bengals NFL training camp practice in Cincinnati on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023.

Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver doesn't want quarterback Joe Burrow to play in Week 1 at the Cleveland Browns. At least that's what he said on the NFL Network earlier Friday.

Take it at face value if you want, but it's highly unlikely the star quarterback would sit out if healthy.

Adam Schefter theorized Burrow might not take the field until a new contract was in place because he has the same agent, Brian Ayrault, as Nick Bosa. Bosa is holding out of San Francisco 49ers camp because he doesn't have a new contract.

The interview at camp with Chase was by NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano.

Watch below and decide for yourself if Chase is trolling the NFL Network or offering legit advice for Burrow:
