The Detroit Pistons have just two games before Thursday's NBA trade deadline, a date crucial to this team's future and the regime in charge of it.

The Pistons on Sunday host the Orlando Magic. It's a look into the diverging paths of two rebuilds, with the Magic rising from ashes into playoff contention, while the Pistons continue to burn, with a league-worst 6-42 record. (Read our recent story tracking the two rebuilds here.)

Orlando (26-23) is tied with Miami atop the Southwest Division and tied for the seventh spot in the Eastern Conference despite numerous injuries all season.
