The Cincinnati Bengals travel west to face the San Francisco 49ers in an NFL Week 8 matchup that some predicted would be a preview of Super Bowl 58 before the season.

The Bengals (3-3) are coming off their bye week while the 49ers (5-2) have lost their last two games.

The game will complete the NFC West portion of the Bengals' schedule, which they could sweep with a win today. The 49ers are 5.5-point favorites and the over/under point total is 43.5, according to BetMGM.

San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams is not expected to play, according to a report from The Athletic's Dianna Russini. Jaylon Moore, a third-year tackle, would get the start if Williams is out.

Betting line swings with Brock Purdy injury

The 49ers opened the week as 6-point favorites, but that moved to 3.5 earlier in the week when it looked like quarterback Brock Purdy would be out. Purdy cleared the concussion protocol, however and the line moved back to it's current 5.5-point spread in favor of San Francisco.
