Mar. 31—Jocelyn Dialectos, Wyomissing, who soon will be graduating from Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, will serve her medical residency in pediatrics at Thomas Jeffersion University/Nemours Children's Health in Philadelphia.
Honor societies
—Gabrielle Bingener, Barto, a senior neuroscience major at the University of Scranton, was inducted into Nu Rho Psi, the national honor society for neuroscience students.
—Kutztown University honored the following student-athletes as part of the Pennsylvania Alpha Omega Chapter of Chi Alpha Sigma in the National College Athlete Honor Society: Nathan Schaeffer, Mohrsville; Tracey White, Temple; Ava Bendetti, Breinigsville; Erika Moriarty, Kutztown; and Haley Gravish, Hamburg.
—Amanda Kaczmarczyk, Bernville, a student at Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg, was initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines.
Research presented
Dylan Correll, a graduate of Muhlenberg High School, is one of three Lebanon Valley College students who presented research at the American Chemical Society's national conference in New Orleans.
Correll presented a poster on "Effect of Capping Agent Size and Chemical Structure on Silver Nanoparticle Catalytic Activity for 4-Nitrophenol Reduction."
Correll is pursuing a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.
