Camanche adds two new head coaches to staff

Mar. 25—CAMANCHE — The Camanche Storm introduced two new head coaches to their staff on Monday morning.

Goble stepping in as new boys tennis coach

Natalie Goble, a 2019 Camanche graduate, is taking over at the helm of the boys tennis team. Goble is still a student at the University of Iowa and is currently wrapping up her student teaching and will graduate in May with a degree in secondary english education.

During her time at Camanche Goble was a four year varsity player and was a part of the 2016 team that took 4th in state. She also took 7th in state doubles in 2018.

"I am very excited to be taking over this position and to help grow the program," Goble said.

Blomme to take over Storm Baseball

Tony Blomme has been helping out the Camanche School District as an assistant coach since 2019, working with middle school football and then helping coach high school baseball the last two year. Now, Blomme is stepping into the head coaching for the Storm.

"I look forward to helping build a strong high school baseball program over the coming years," Blomme said.

Blomme also serves his community as an insurance agent as well as volunteering as a firefighter and EMT with the Camanche Fire Department. He is also a member of the Parks and Recreation Board for the City of Camanche.
