Bournemouth 1-2 Brentford: Bees win after wild finale
Brentford secured a 2-1 win at Bournemouth on Saturday as Yoane Wissa scored a 95th-minute winner in the sunshine at the Vitality Stadium.
After VAR denied Dominic Solanke a goal in the first half and took away a penalty kick awarded to Brentford's Ivan Toney in the second, this entertaining game looked destined to end scoreless.
But Bryan Mbeumo gave Brentford the lead in the 86th minute only for Solanke to equalize in the 89th. Both teams had chances to win it and Wissa smashed home deep into stoppage time to secure a much-needed win for the Bees as they finally have their key attacking players back fit.
With the win Brentford move on to 39 points for the season, while Bournemouth remain on 48.

Well, that was fun! Both teams had a go throughout and Brentford probably deserved to edge it as they were better early and late. Still, there wasn't much in this. What a game and what late drama.
Wissa surely wins it this time - Bournemouth 1-2 Brentford (95th minute)
Mbeumo slots in Wissa and he smashes home. They've combined to score both of Brentford's goals and surely that is the victory sealed for the Bees.
Solanke heads home an equalizer! - Bournemouth 1-1 Brentford (89th minute)
A cross comes in from the left and Solanke climbs above the Brentford defense and heads home beautifully. Can anyone find a winner late on!?
Mbeumo surely wins it late on - Bournemouth 0-1 Brentford (86th minute)
Flekken launches the ball forward, Wissa volleys the pass perfectly to Mbeumo and the Cameroon international finishes emphatically to send the away fans wild. Brentford take the lead late on.
Penalty given but VAR asks the ref to the pitch-side monitor and he overturns it
Referee Matthew Donohue gives a penalty kick to Brentford as Ivan Toney went down in the box. But VAR asks him to take a look at the monitor and he overturns his decision. That is the correct call. Toney went down very easily. He isn't happy.
Kelly almost flicks home a header
A corner finds Lloyd Kelly at the near post and his flicked header almost flies in at the back post.
Lewis-Potter denied on the line
A quick Brentford attack sees Lewis-Potter rolled in but he can't get enough on his effort and Bournemouth clear the ball off the line.

Not sure how this is still 0-0. Brentford started superbly but Bournemouth finally woke up and VAR ruled out a goal and they've come close on a few other occasions. Brilliant open game in the sun.
Semenyo forces Flekken to save
Bournemouth are in again and this time Semenyo smashes a shot straight at Flekken.
Solanke has the ball in the net but it’s chalked off for a foul
Solanke is fuming. He bundles into Collins and chips the ball home but a foul was given for his nudge on Collins. There wasn't much in that.
Toney’s shot deflected over
A cross eventually finds Ivan Toney on the edge of the box and his drilled shot is blocked by Lloyd Kelly and flies over. Toney wants a penalty kick for handball but there's nothing there.
No goal for Solanke as VAR chalks it off
Bournemouth think they are ahead as Solanke's shot deflects home. But hang on. VAR has a look at a handball by Semenyo on the halfway line before Solanke scored and it clearly hits his arm. No goal.
Another chance for Bournemouth
Semenyo is in again, this time on the edge of the six-yard box, but he can't keep his balance and slashes his shot into the stand behind the goal.

Bournemouth have finally woken up! Antoine Semenyo smashes a beauty of a shot just over the bar and most of the home fans thought that was in. Much better from the Cherries who are causing Brentford problems now with Solanke heading just over.

Brentford are flying early on and Keane Lewis-Potter cuts in from the left and his low shot is pushed out by Travers.
