Bills injury updates post-Chiefs win on AJ Epenesa, Micah Hyde, Dalton Kincaid

The final score was great for the Buffalo Bills in Week 14.

Regardless of how the Kansas City Chiefs (8-5) felt about it, the Bills (7-6) took a 20-17 win back to western New York.

Unfortunately, a few injuries followed them back as well.

Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott updated the injury statuses for a few players that were hurt in Kansas City via video conference on Monday.

Two on defense appear to be serious. Another might not be so bad on offense. That’s not good considering a very tough opponent in the Dallas Cowboys (10-3) in en route next weekend.

Kincaid was classified as “day-to-day” by McDermott. He re-aggravated a shoulder problem.

Per ESPN, Kincaid said following Sunday’s game: “Football’s a collision sport, bumps and bruises. Do what I can to be back next week.”

Hyde left the contest because of a stinger. It originally looked like an arm injury, but McDermott indicated it related to the same issue with his neck which kept him out of action earlier this season.

Hyde is considered “week-to-week,” McDermott said.

Likewise, Epenesa was called “week-to-week.” Nearly right after he made a big play by tipping a pass which led to an interception, Epenesa left the contest due to a rib injury.
