Arizona Coyotes' silence on Salt Lake City relocation rumors angers fans

The Arizona Coyotes and the NHL have kept quiet about the relocation rumors for Arizona's NHL franchise as they reach a boiling point.

Dailyfaceoff.com reported Wednesday that the NHL is drafting a version of the Coyotes' schedule for next season with the team playing in Salt Lake City, writing that an announcement about a sale and relocation of the team could come as soon as April 18.

The Coyotes had no comment on the reports that the team could move to Utah, according to ESPN, which also wrote that the NHL didn't have any comment.

The lone word we've received from the team in the wake of the news?

The team released a 30-second video on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 12:23 p.m. Wednesday with the caption: "Committed to keeping Coyotes Hockey in the desert & building an arena in Phoenix."
