Antetokounmpos among thousands of fans evacuated at Greek League final in Athens
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, along with his brothers Thanasis, Kostas and Alex, were among thousands of fans evacuated from OAKA Arena in Athens on Thursday when the Greek League basketball final between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos was interrupted by fans throwing objects – including flares – at the court.
Thanasis Antetokounmpo is a free agent this summer after spending the last four seasons with the Bucks. Alex Antetokounmpo played with the Wisconsin Herd, Milwaukee's G League affiliate, last season. Kostas Antetokounmpo played for Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Basketball Super League last year. Kostas and Alex were stars for Dominican High School in Whitefish Bay.

Olympiacos led the Greek championship series 2-1 and was leading the game by 28 points in the third quarter when Panathinaikos fans began throwing objects. The court is surrounded by a net for such things, but www.basketnews.com reported parts of the lit flares reached the Olympiacos bench.
The game was stopped and both teams were sent to the locker rooms.
Then, the referees wanted the arena evacuated and as that occurred seats were thrown and firecrackers were lit and fire extinguishers were opened, creating a haze in the arena.
