It’s great for them to get the game against New York, get the game (against Charlotte). They work hard. They deserve some opportunities and they’ve taken advantage of them.
The Milwaukee Bucks snapped their three-game losing streak with a blowout victory over the Orlando Magic, 124-87. With the starters back in the lineup, Milwaukee opened up a sizable 57-38 advantage by halftime, due largely to a 9-20 half from behind the arc. Orlando, meanwhile, was just 4-20 from deep two quarters through.
I appreciate the desire to lessen the burden on the Bucks, but ultimately if this is a team that competes for a championship, they’re simply going to have to prove themselves to be the better unit over multiple seven-game series. If they end up stuck as the third seed and need to walk through the proverbial lake of fire that would be the Heat-Nets-Sixers before even fighting for a title, then so be it.
