For the third consecutive day, New Albany sophomore Mia Hammond broke par at the LPGA Dana Open.

She followed consecutive rounds of 3-under 68 by shooting a 70 on Saturday at Highland Meadows in Sylvania. She enters Sunday's final round at 7-under 206, tied for 21st place.

Hammond, 15, had four birdies and three bogeys in the third round. She shot a 2-under 32 on the front nine and a 1-over 38 on the back, with bogeys on the par-4 10th and 13th holes.

She is the only amateur in the field. This is her LPGA debut.

Linn Grant surged into the lead Saturday with a tournament-best round of 62, moving her to 18-under 195. Five players are tied for second, six shots back.
