Alabama high school sports: Vote for Gadsden times boys and girls athlete of the Week of Jan. 26

It's that time of the week, time to vote for the Gadsden area boys and girls athlete of the week.

Southside's Trey Morgan won 52% of the boy vote while Sardis's Kaylen Wallace scored 61% of the vote earn the girls title last week. Nominees for athlete of the week come from the top performers from the week before. Voting will last until Friday at noon.

• Gadsden City's James McFadden - 22 points (1 game)

• Glencoe's Garrett Morgan - 23 points (1 game)

• Geraldine's Jaxon Colvin - 21 points (1 game)

Gadsden area girl athlete of the week nominations

• Southside's Grace Anne Rose - 45 points, 23 rebounds (3 games)

• Glencoe's Alli Jo Amos - 37 points, 25 rebounds (2 games)

• Sand Rock's Katelyn St. Clair - 50 points, 16 rebounds 9 assists (2 games)

• Spring Garden's Ace Austin - 62 points, 15 rebounds, 19 assists (3 games)
