4-star PF reportedly working on finalizing September official visit to the Iowa Hawkeyes
The Iowa Hawkeyes have been in the mix for one of the nation’s best players for some time.
Iowa offered four-star power forward Pharaoh Compton in May, and the Hawkeyes have been heavily involved since. Now, per Andrew Slater, Compton shares he has been hearing from Iowa, LSU, San Diego State and Maryland.
Compton has an official visit planned to San Diego State on Aug. 23-25 and he is reportedly speaking with Iowa to work out the details of a September official visit to the Hawkeyes. Obviously, it would be terrific news for the black and gold if they can get the elite big on campus for an official visit.

2024 class notes
Iowa has one commit in its 2024 class. Consensus four-star forward Cooper Koch out of Peoria Notre Dame in Illinois is the Hawkeyes’ pledge. ESPN, 247Sports and On3 rank Koch as a top-100 talent.
On3 ranks Koch the highest as the nation’s No. 89 player in the 2024 class, as the No. 17 power forward and as the No. 2 player from Illinois.
