Report: Titans keeping Johnson

Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson will return to the team in 2013, according to an ESPN report.

The Titans kept Johnson following a Thursday conversation between their star and Titans head coach Mike Munchak.

"Had a great 30min convo with coach munchak and we both look forward to making that next step," Johnson tweeted.

The Titans had to make a decision Saturday, when $9 million of Johnson's $10 million salary would have become guaranteed if he remained on the roster.

Johnson rushed for 1,243 yards and six touchdowns this past season.
