Predators place Forsberg on IR; recall Piskula

The Nashville Predators announced Saturday that center Filip Forsberg was placed on injured reserve and defenseman Joe Piskula was recalled from Milwaukee of the AHL.

Forsberg, who has an upper body injury, has five points (one goal and four assists) and a minus-8 rating in 12 games this season.

Piskula has five assists, 12 penalty minutes and a plus-3 rating in all 18 games for Milwaukee this season. He was acquired by the Predators from the Calgary Flames in late February. He has played in 10 career NHL games with the Los Angeles Kings (2006-07) and Calgary (2011-12).
