Tootoo, 33, has played the past two seasons with the New Jersey Devils where he scored four goals and notched five assists in 66 games during the 2015-16 campaign. - - Minnesota agreed to terms with restricted free-agent goaltender Darcy Kuemper on a one-year, $1.55 million contract. Kuemper, 26, posted a 6-7-5 record, with a .915 save percentage and two shutouts in 21 games with Minnesota last season. - - Colorado signed goaltender Calvin Pickard to a two-year contract through the 2017-18 season. Pickard, 24, split this past season between the Avalanche and the club's American Hockey League affiliate in San Antonio. - - The New York Islanders signed goaltender Jean-Francois Berube to a one-year deal. Berube, 24, made his NHL debut with the Islanders last season, posting a 3-2-1 record with a 2.71 goals-against average and .914 save percentage in seven games. - - St. Louis re-signed forward Magnus Paajarvi to a one-year, one-way contract worth $700,000.
