News Flash: Houston grabs Stewart
Houston has hired Brian Stewart as defensive coordinator, the school announced. He was a defensive special assistant with the Philadelphia Eagles last year. From 2007-08, Stewart was defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys. He last worked in the college ranks in 2001 with Syracuse.
Mitchell named ECU DC
East Carolina has tabbed Brian Mitchell as defensive coordinator, the school announced. He most recently was cornerbacks coach at Texas Tech. Mitchell also spent 11 seasons as an assistant at Brigham Young.
