Kevin Quackenbush records win Tuesday
Padres pitcher Kevin Quackenbush picked up a win Tuesday, giving up one hit and one walk while striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning in his team's 2-1, walkoff win over the Diamondbacks.
Quackenbush (3-3) surrendered a one-out single, and when the runner advanced to second base on the second out, he intentionally walked Miguel Montero to face A.J. Pollock, who flied out to center field. Quackenbush owns a 2.58 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 47:17 K:BB ratio in 45 1/3 innings.
