Bucs to audition veteran kickers

With Connor Barth on the shelf due to an Achilles injury, and Lawrence Tynes, his replacement, still bothered by a toe injury, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are looking for a kicker.

Former Dallas Cowboys kicker David Buehler will be in Tampa today to try out for the Bucs, according to FoxSports' Alex Marvez.

In addition to Buehler, the Buccaneers are also talking about Rian Lindell, who was released Monday by Buffalo, and Dan Carpenter, who was let go last week by Miami.

The only healthy kicker on the Tampa Bay roster currently is Derek Dimke, who while he is perfect on five preseason kicks, has never played in an NFL regular-season game before.
