Enmanuel Valdez says he'll 'get [to the park] earlier than anyone else' as he tries to get back to the majors

Enmanuel Valdez is prepared to do whatever he needs to do to get back on the major-league roster. Whether it's at second base, shortstop, third base or first base or the outfield, Valdez is ready to expand his positional resume to help the Red Sox fill whatever hole they have. Valdez was playing his most familiar position, second base, on Friday night, but the plan is to move him around and get him acclimated all over the diamond. WooSox manager Chad Tracy said he feels more confident in Valdez's ability to make those longer throws from short, third or even the outfield than he did when the Red Sox first acquired Valdez.
