Ex-Mariners help Diamondbacks avoid sweep with 3-2 win over M's

Eugenio Suarez spoiled another gem of a start from Logan Gilbert with a run-scoring double in the seventh inning, and another ex-Mariner, Ketel Marte, drove in the winning run in the eighth for the Arizona Diamondbacks, who avoided a sweep with a 3-2 comeback victory over the Mariners on Sunday at T-Mobile Park. Gilbert continued a dominant stretch for Mariners pitchers, scattering two runs and four hits over 6.1 innings, with one walk and nine strikeouts.
