Brandon Carlo made the right one Monday. From the heady aftermath of the Bruins' Game 7 win over Toronto Saturday night at home, to the postgame news that Mayson had gone into labor, to the long night and day watching and waiting by Mayson's bedside, to an overnight visit from a doctor ready to help quicken the pace (“We were flipping her around, putting her upside down, whatever we could do to get that baby out of there,” Carlo said), to seeing the fresh smile of his first son, Carlo probably could have flown to Florida on the strength of his own adrenaline.
