St. Patrick’s player lifts up tiny pitch invader after scoring

Normally footballers not named Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi have little problem brushing off or ignoring pitch invaders, but when it's a little kid tugging at your shirt after you've just sealed your club's first league title in over a decade, the joy of the moment takes over.

St. Patrick's Athletic won the Irish Premier Division for the first time since 2002 by beating Sligo 2-0 at home on Sunday. Anthony Flood scored the second goal and by the time he reached the touchline to celebrate in front of the fans Richmond Park, there was already a young boy in a St. Patrick's away shirt dancing around on the pitch. When the kid went up to congratulate Flood, the goal scorer lifted him up as more fans piled on.
