FC Schweinfurt midfielder scores own goal from halfway line

Unless you achieved a perfect score in The Guardian's Football Hipster test, you will probably be unaware that FC Schweinfurt hosted 1860 München II in the Regionalliga Bayern (the regionalized German fourth tier) last Thursday evening.

The Bavarian match finished 3-0 to the away side, with the second goal coming in the 23rd minute from the boot of Schweinfurt midfielder Stefan Seufert. In what is either a challenge gone wrong or a thoroughly over-zealous back pass, Seufert manages to blast the ball over his own keeper from just inside his own half.

He'll probably never score a better goal at the other end.
