NHL Three Stars: Devils snap Panthers win streak; Kings earn fourth straight victory

No. 1 Star: Adam Henrique, New Jersey Devils

The Devils continue to be better than most people thought they would be as the team snaps the Florida Panthers five-game win streak, 4-1. Henrique contributed 1 goal and 2 assists in the win. New Jersey is getting offensive help from everyone with goals by Henrique, Lee Stempniak, Kyle Palmieri, and Mike Cammalleri.

No. 2 Star: Ryan McDonagh, New York Rangers

The defenseman's 3 point night included a goal and an assist on the power play in the first period. Derick Brassard scored 2 goals and Henrik Lundqvist made 23 save in the Blueshirts 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators.

No. 3 Star: Justin Faulk, Carolina Hurricanes

It looked like the Hurricanes and Arizona Coyotes were headed to overtime before Faulk played hero for everyone that was watching. With 17 seconds left and the 'Canes on the power play, Faulk blasted a shot on net, gathered his own rebound out near the blueline, and sent another rocket through traffic. This time the puck made it past Anders Lindback for the win.

Honorable Mention: Patrick Kane's assist on Artemi Panarin's empty net goal pushed him past Bobby Hull on the Chicago Blackhawks all time point scoring streak list at 22 games. Marian Hossa opened the game's scoring versus the Jets by masterfully scooting the puck around Michael Hutchinson's glove while in front of the net.

Hossa later assisted on the game winning goal by Teuvo Teravainen ... Despite appearing as if he had torn and broken everything in his leg on Saturday night, Kyle Turris played against the Rangers ... John Gibson improved to 4-2-1 on the season in the Anaheim Ducks 2-1 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Corey Perry scored his tenth goal of the season. Marc-Andre Fleury had no chance on the redirection eventual game winner by Chris Stewart:

... Aaron Ekblad and Jaromir Jagr had two points each in the Panthers loss ... Jonathan Quick's 24 saves and Brayden McNabb's first multi-point game of the season clinched a 3-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning ... Taylor Hall and Teddy Purcell each registered a goal and an assist for Edmonton. Anders Nilsson made 32 saves against the Buffalo Sabres. Jack Eichel rips a missile on his backhand past Nilsson for the first goal of the game:

Did You Know? With his helper on Brayden McNabb's second period goal, Anze Kopitar now has 400 assists in his career.

Dishonorable Mention: Anders Lindback allowed 5 goals on 18 shots by Carolina ... There is no love lost between old teammates as Bryan Bickell says 'I'M BAAAACK' to Dustin Byfuglien with a check that leads to a scrum:

Scary moment in the Jets/Blackhawks game when Trevor Daley takes an accidental knee to the head. He appeared stunned on the ice as they brought out the stretcher. Luckily he was able to skate off under his own power but did not return to the game. ... Kris Letang was held out of the lineup again for the Penguins. Add this coach's challenge for off-sides to the list of things to talk about at the Board of Governors meeting this week ... Lightning starter Andrei Vasilevskiy was pulled 10 seconds in the the second period after allowing 2 goals on 10 shots. Drew Doughty must not have watched Saturday night's incident between Brad Marchand and Brandon Prust:
