Washington State cornerback Calvin Green was arrested over the weekend.

According to Pullman Radio News, Green was arrested early Sunday morning after a woman told police Green hit her parked car and left the scene. The report says Green drove away and “parked in a nearby alley.” The woman “chased him down on foot,” but Green drove away again. Green was pulled over and arrested a short time later.

The Moscow-Pullman Daily News is reporting that Green was arrested for “driving without a license, reckless endangerment and hit-and-run.” Alcohol is believed to have been involved, but has not been confirmed by police.

Green, a junior, played in nine games for the Cougars in 2015 and registered seven tackles. He began his career as a wide receiver and had 13 catches for 68 yards as a true freshman in 2014.

Green is the second WSU player to run into legal trouble in 2016. Jamal Morrow, a redshirt junior running back, was arrested for DUI in January. Morrow pleaded guilty last month and was sentenced to one day in jail.

Washington State is scheduled to begin spring practice on March 24.
